Hospital Manager, Veterinary Technician
Kim’s veterinary journey began when she was only 14 years old and started working as a kennel helper and veterinary assistant in central Ohio. When she left the animal-care field briefly to study human nursing during college, she quickly realized that something was missing. Kim decided to return to her roots and devoted herself to becoming a veterinary professional!
Kim studied animal science in college before signing on at her first job in a pet hospital. Over the years, she’s learned invaluable lessons from the many veterinary professionals she’s had the pleasure of working with. After serving in specialty medicine for several years, Kim wanted to get back into general practice and joined the Angel Animal Hospital team in 2011. Now, she’s a Veterinary Technician and the Hospital Manager.
Kim, her husband, and their three children live with a myriad of dogs—all of whom are certified therapy dogs—as well as three cats who tend to think they are dogs themselves. Kim is very interested in dog behavior and training, and has shown and trained award-winning dogs for many years. She also likes knitting, crocheting, and gardening; she recently built her own greenhouse to grow all of her own plants and flowers!
